Could These Be the Best Brunch Spots in Sydney?
Updated: Aug 18, 2020

One of the most crucial parts of traveling is finding where to eat! Seriously! It can make or break a trip if you can't find good food! Luckily, there are quite a few fantastic places to brunch in Sydney! I have personally tried ALL of these brunch places and they all made me smile with every bite....but could these be the best brunch spots in Sydney? You tell me!
Here are our top places to brunch in Sydney:
Speedos

This was one of our first brunch spots when we first moved to Sydney. It is our go to whenever we are near Bondi Beach! Located in North Bondi, this little cafe is a stunner! Try the Vegan pancakes! I'm not vegan, and I found them so delicious! They were super light and I loved all the fresh fruit! Not to mention, the view from Speedos overlooking Bondi is fantastic! No better way to enjoy pancakes than with a view!
Location: North Bondi
Must Try: Vegan Pancakes
Cafe Monstera
If you haven't noticed, I like to enjoy my food with a view. Monstera is the cutest little cafe on the Mosman Bay Wharf. The waffles really stole the show here! Every bite was like a party in my mouth. They were ALMOST too pretty to eat! There are no reservations available, so it's best to get here early.
Location: Mosman Bay Warf
Must Try: Monstera Waffles
Celsius Coffee Co
This cafe is our go-to neighborhood cafe! Located in Kirribilli, it is also a cafe on a wharf. This is the sister cafe to Monstera. It's best to get here early as there are no reservations available. We love to come and enjoy their "Eggs by the Wharf." The balsamic drizzle with caramelized onions is a game changer on the poached eggs. Another winner is the waffles topped with berries and a peanut butter cream! The best part? Celsius Coffee Co also takes their coffee game seriously. They house brew all of their coffee. The Chai lattes are fantastic here as well. It's so nice to enjoy a breakfast here and watch the boats go by. You can easily reach Celsius Coffee Co by ferry from Circular Quay- talk about a grand entrance! Arriving by boat to your cafe!

Blackwood Pantry

We arrived at this cafe on a complete downpour day in Sydney. The staff was SO good about getting us a table and keeping us out of the rain. They were incredibly busy too (a good sign of a cafe in Sydney)! Blackwood Pantry is ALL about the food. Every dish was outstanding and the flavors matched the beautiful presentation. The Coconut Hot Cakes are a must with the passionfruit on top! Every bite of each dish was an experience. Who knew food could look SO good and taste this great! Make sure to sample the protein shakes made with Third Wave Nutrition protein powder. Seriously amazing!
Location: Cronulla
Must Try: Coconut Hotcakes
The Botanica Vaucluse
The interior here is stunning...who doesn't love a pink cafe? This beautiful restaurant is located in Vaucluse. We enjoyed the Acai bowl, fresh fruit salad, and the Coconut and Chia pancakes. The Acai Bowl is served chilled and was an explosion of flavors. The Coconut and Chia pancakes were scrumptious served with grilled banana. So yummy! The breakfast paired perfectly with a glass of Champagne. The ambiance of this restaurant is the real winner. Bonus points go to the staff who were attentive and contributed to the overall experience.

Kusuka Cafe
A modern Indonesian cafe located in the heart of Sydney! This cafe is easy to get to from Town hall and every piece of food that exits that kitchen is almost too beautiful to eat! We enjoyed the Kopi pancakes, the superbowl, and some delicious Wondermelon green milk tea with iced pink latte. Everything on our table was absolutely delicious!

Who Doesn't love a pink cafe? I'm always so impressed when I find such a beautiful cafe and the food tastes just as amazing! Located in Zetland, just minutes away from the Green square train station, it's a super easy cafe to get to. I was invited with my friend Christina from @love.christina.xo to taste their new winter menu and everything was delicious! We tried the Social Ricotta Popping Hot Cakes and they were actually making popping sounds at the table! They were so fluffy and fresh! The Millennial Bruschetta was my personal favorite with the stuffed zucchini flower and their take on a deconstructed bruschetta. Absolutely yummy! They also take their coffee game seriously and I have always been impressed with their flat whites and chai lattes.
