Silvermere Coastal Retreat- The Perfect Beach Escape from Sydney!
There's nothing more relaxing than a coastal escape from the city. 2020 has been the year of weekend getaways and Silvermere Coastal Retreat was so worth it. Located a 2.5 hour drive south of Sydney, the Silvermere house is located right on Culburra Beach. A little sleepy coastal town in the Shoalhaven area. Although there were rainstorms during out weekend trip there, everything about this little beach house made us feel so relaxed.

The detail that has been put into the remodel of this house is beautiful! It's a three bedroom, two bath house (5 beds!) with most of the living on the second floor. This was designed perfectly so you can see beach views from the second floor balcony. Even on a stormy day, the beach was still visible.

The house has a full kitchen, so we suggest making a visit to Woolworths and cooking up a storm at the house. We even made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and it was delicious!

Enjoy a spa day at Silvermere. Grab a glass of wine, a good book, and just enjoy the bubbles in the oversized bath. How relaxing! This was one of our favorite features of the house!

Once the sun starts setting, make sure to head outside and start the fire pit! It was so beautiful to have the fire crackling and watching the stars from above. Beth, the owner of the house, even thought to leave us some marshmallows to roast. Make sure to stop by a gas station or Bunnings on your way to the house to pick up some extra firewood.

If the weather is nice, it's a short walk to the beach. We woke up to watch the sunrise along the beach and it was so beautiful! Beth also provided two bikes so you can always do a bike ride around the neighborhood.
Silvermere Coastal retreat is a beautiful weekend destination away from Sydney. It's perfect for a family getaway, or just a getaway with friends. It's also dog friendly, so bring your furry friends along too! You can book your weekend here through Riparide
